Rohan Bopanna Tennis Development Foundation launches ‘Tennis Dream of India’

The Rohan Bopanna Tennis Development Foundation (RBTDF) has announced that the Doubles Dream of India programme, previously run in partnership with the Pune Metropolitan District Tennis Association (PMDTA) and supported by KPIT Technologies, Avendus, and others, is transitioning to RBTDF and will be rebranded as ‘Tennis Dream of India’.

The programme, which has seen seven players break into the top 100 of the world doubles rankings, will now expand its scope to include promising Indian singles and doubles players, including women. It will be based at the Rohan Bopanna Tennis Academy in Bengaluru. KPIT Technologies CEO and MD. Kishor Patil, has also been welcomed as Director of RBTDF as part of the transition, a media rlease said.

Rohan Bopanna said, “PMDTA, KPIT and Mr. Patil have been true partners in this journey from the very beginning, and their belief in Indian tennis talent has helped shape this programme into what it is today. As we take this next step forward, I want to thank Mr. Kishor Patil personally for his continued involvement, support and commitment and I’m delighted that he’ll now be guiding this mission even more closely as Director of RBTDF.”
