ROSE MERC LIMITED, a company with interests spanning event management, spiritual radio broadcasting, sports management, B2C products, and financial consulting, has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KheloMore Sports Pvt. Ltd., a sports-tech platform focused on democratising access to sports through venue bookings, coaching, and events across India.
The strategic partnership aims to drive collaborative growth within the country’s sports ecosystem by exploring equity funding opportunities. Under the MoU, Rose Merc will utilise its financial expertise through its invested company Capital Square Advisors Pvt. Ltd., which has facilitated debt syndications exceeding Rs 75,000 crore, to assess potential investment placements of up to Rs 20 crore in KheloMore.
In addition, Rose Merc may directly invest in KheloMore to fuel its expansion plans. The collaboration will focus on enhancing business efficiency, market reach, and innovation across areas such as venue management optimisation, data-driven fan engagement, and the scaling of KheloMore’s network to over 10,000 venues, while encouraging participation from Gen Z and rural communities.
The MoU also establishes a joint working group to identify strategic projects, share insights, and conduct market research for upcoming funding rounds. Effective for an initial two-year term, the agreement reflects both companies’ commitment to exploring opportunities on a non-binding basis, with definitive arrangements to follow.
