MUMBAI: Royals Sports Group-owned Rajasthan Royals Sunday announced its association with dry fruit brand Happilo as the Indian Premier League franchise’s title sponsor for the 15th edition of IPL, which is set to be held from March 26 – May 29.
The deal (financial terms were not disclosed) will see the nuts and dry fruits brand’s logo appear on the front of the Rajasthan Royals’ official playing kit.
More than 20 million packets of Happilo are sold every year, an official release asserts. With the objective of reaching out to a wider consumer base, both in India and across the world, Happilo has been associating with multiple sports leagues and has now decided to sponsor the inaugural champions of the competition, “Rajasthan Royals.”
