RYAN GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS has entered into a comprehensive three-year agreement with the Sports Authority of Telangana (SATG) to provide structured academic support for young footballers training at the FIFA Talent Academy in Hyderabad.
The Memorandum of Understanding, signed in Hyderabad, strengthens Ryan Group’s commitment to developing India’s emerging football talent through a balanced approach that combines sporting performance with academic progress.
This follows the group’s earlier agreement with the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for the FIFA Talent Academy in Bhubaneswar, announced in January. Under the new partnership, Ryan Group will implement a similar academic model in Hyderabad, covering teacher recruitment and deployment, curriculum delivery through National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) as a fallback option, alongside student counselling, examination coordination and structured personality development programmes.
Qualified teachers will be assigned across key subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Computer Science, the Arts and languages. The academic team will operate with flexibility to align with the academy’s training calendar, including providing support during outstation competitions. Trainees at the Hyderabad academy will also gain access to Ryan schools’ facilities, such as libraries and laboratories, and will be encouraged to participate in cultural initiatives, debates and inter-school competitions.
Under the arrangement, the Sports Authority of Telangana will supply the necessary infrastructure including classrooms, smart boards, laboratories, IT systems and administrative assistance while Ryan Group assumes responsibility for academic delivery and overall student development.
Ryan Group of Institutions CEO Ryan Pinto said, “We are delighted to extend our partnership to Hyderabad with the Sports Authority of Telangana. Our experience in Bhubaneswar has reinforced our belief that young athletes deserve the best of both worlds – world-class sports training and quality education. This collaboration strengthens our presence in Hyderabad, where we already operate five schools, enabling us to leverage our established infrastructure and resources to deliver the best possible educational experience for these talented young footballers. By providing flexible, high-quality education that accommodates rigorous training schedules, we are ensuring these young talents can pursue their sporting dreams without compromising their academic future.”
SATG vice chairman & managing director Dr A. Sonibala Devi, “The Sports Authority of Telangana is proud to partner with Ryan Group of Institutions to create a nurturing environment for our young footballers at the FIFA Talent Academy. Education is the foundation upon which successful careers – both in sports and beyond – are built. This partnership ensures our trainees receive structured academic support from one of India’s most respected educational institutions, while they pursue excellence in football. We are confident this collaboration will produce well-rounded individuals who will make Telangana and India proud.”
