Sporting Club Bengaluru (SCB) has announced Fortunas News, surrogate offshoot of European betting and gaming operator Fortuna Entertainment Group, as the club’s principal partner for the ongoing I-League 2024-25 season.
As principal partner, their brand logo will feature prominently on the front of SCB’s shirt, symbolising a mutual dedication to advancing the sport and its community. Both organisations share the aligned vision of disrupting their sector.
In addition to their presence on the team kits, Fortunas News will have a visible presence at the Bangalore Football Stadium.
The partnership will also integrate Fortunas News into the club’s digital content, offering fans engaging media and exclusive behind-the-scenes insights during the rest of the season.
Sporting Group International (SGI) played a key role in securing the deal.
SGI’s vision in India is to help grow sports beyond cricket, working with teams and leagues to develop into global properties. This partnership is a testament to that mission, further strengthening Indian football’s commercial appeal.
Kishore Reddy, CEO of Sporting Club Bengaluru, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: “We at SCB are excited about the partnership with Fortunas News as our principal partner for the 2024-25 season. Fortunas News is an aspiring sports news platform and has demonstrated a commitment to Indian football by partnering with SCB. Their approach to partnering with a newly promoted club to the I-League shows their trust in us. The partnership with Sporting Club Bengaluru will enhance the experience for our fans, both on the pitch and through our social & digital media presence. We hope SCB and Fortunas Newscontinue to build on this partnership for seasons to come.
