MUMBAI: Sony Sports Network is broadcasting the second edition of the FairBreak Invitational T20 tournament that kicked off Monday LIVE on Sony Sports Ten 5 & Sony Sports Ten 5 HD channels.
The ICC-sanctioned women’s tournament has six teams going head-to-head across 20 matches in Hong Kong.
The FairBreak Invitational is a unique initiative which seeks to advance gender parity in cricket while giving female cricketers a stage to showcase their skills. The maiden edition of the tournament saw participation from over 35 nations represented by 99 players, including international superstars like Suzie Bates, Heather Knight, Jahanara Alam, and more.
The six teams – Barmy Army, Spirit, Warriors, Sapphires, Falcons, and Tornadoes is seeing participation from some big names like Danni Wyatt, Nicola Carey, Sophia Dunkley, Hayley Matthews, Ellie Johnston, Sana Mir, and more.
