NEW DELHI: “Sport India 2022” and 10th India International sporting goods show – billed as India’s largest sport and fitness business expo – is all set to open on 4th August at India Expo Center in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The three-day international expo exhibition will feature sports goods, sports wear and accessories, fitness, gym and rehabilitation equipment, sports flooring and technology, golf, adventure and amusement, motor sports, toys, sports wellness and beauty, raw materials and sports goods manufacturing machines, sport medicine and allied industries.
The stated core objective of the Sport India 2022 initiative is to establish a single venue where the government, non-government organisations, federations, state associations, various sports bodies, sport authorities, sports clubs, sport academics, coaches, and judges, sports goods manufacturers, Central and state sports departments, and relevant government institutions, buyers, sellers, and sports personnel, training centres, sport investors, etc. can come together and could contribute to the growth of the sports industry in India.
Swadesh Kumar (director of event organisers Indian Exhibition Services) said: “Tthe Expo will offer an unparalleled networking event to tap into sports, fitness and health markets all in one place. The event will create a background for signing of deals, providing the event an important marketing strategy for local and international companies in sports sector.”
