MUNICH: The National Anti-Doping Agency of Germany (NADA) announced Tuesday that Switzerland-based sports technology company Sportradar will assist them in its intelligence & investigation work related to relevant doping issues.
Sportradar’s intelligence and investigation services, particularly in the area of open source intelligence, as well as due diligence, risk and compliance analysis, will significantly support NADA’s work.
“With Sportradar, we are pleased to gain a partner for NADA’s Intelligence & Investigation work who has been very successful in combating manipulation and corruption in organized sport worldwide for years,” NADA executive board member and chief legal officer Dr. Lars Mortsiefer said.
“State-of-the-art technology such as big data analysis will make the international anti-doping fight more digital and therefore more effective. We are pleased to support NADA as one of the most renowned and advanced anti-doping organisations in the world,” Sportradar director of anti-doping services Dr. Anja Martin added.
With offices in Germany as well, Sportradar initially began monitoring the global betting market to prevent and detect match-fixing in sport but has now expanded its work gambit to areas of consultancy and investigation in match fixing and doping cases.
