NEW DELHI: Delhi based realty firm Supertech has received environmental clearance for setting up a ‘sports centric’ housing project in Greater Noida at an estimated cost of Rs11.3 billion.
The 62 acre project, christened ‘Sports Village’, will develop more than 4000 flats and villas, include a nine-hole golf course in 25-acre area and will have academies for other sports like badminton and shooting. A PTI report quotes Supertech chairman R K Arora as saying that the project, coming up in Sector 27 in Greater Noida, will be launched during Diwali this year and will be completed in four years.
In 2015, the company had tied up with sports personalities such as Sania Mirza, Shikhar Dhawan, Jyoti Randhawa, Pullela Gopichand and Gagan Narang for setting up training facilities in its projects.
