COLOMBO: MTV Channel has secured exclusive broadcasting rights for all Asian Cricket Council (ACC) tournaments in Sri Lanka through to 2027.
The deal covers both T20 and One-Day formats, ensuring comprehensive coverage of Asian competitions until 2027.
The first tournament under this agreement will be the Asia Cup T20 Championship, starting on 9 September in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The event will feature eight teams — India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong — competing in two groups, with all matches broadcast live on MTV.
In total, MTV will air 11 ACC tournaments until 2027, including men’s, women’s, emerging, and youth events.
