TCM appoints Chief Revenue Officer

NEW DELHI: TCM Sports has recently onboarded Sanjay Kailash as Chief Revenue Officer.  Sanjay shall be based out of Mumbai and lead TCM Sports’ sales and business development, a media release said.

Sanjay has had a 32-year career which includes heading media sales and sports marketing at Times of India, UTV and ESPN Star Sports. At ESPN Star Sports where he was India head of sales for nearly 15 years, he was responsible for driving acquisition strategy and leading advertising sales for international cricket, football and tennis. Starting from just 10 million dollars in 2001, he built a multi-million dollar TV ad-sales business while digital revenues doubled between 2009 to 2013, the release said.

TCM founder and managing director, Lokesh Sharma, believes that Sanjay with his vast experience and knowledge shall help TCM Sports grow exponentially.

TCM is a leading company in cricket advertising sales, holds rights to important events like the Asia Cup and enjoys long-term partnerships with boards for cricket in New Zealand and West Indies. TCM has also been deeply involved with IPL since inception, marketed over 1,500 international bilateral cricket matches globally, partnered 100+ world-leading brands and 100+ sports federations since 1993. Besides cricket, TCM has been involved with football, kabaddi and hockey leagues  in India, the release added.
