UJJWAL CHAURASIA, better known as Techno Gamerz and managed by influencer marketing agency Opraahfx, has surpassed 50 million subscribers on YouTube.
He began his gaming journey in the mid-2010s, when India’s gaming content ecosystem was still in its early stages. While many creators at the time focused on a single title, Chaurasia explored multiple games and formats, establishing himself as a versatile storyteller, according to a media release.
What started as a hobby soon evolved into a full-time career with the support of his brother, who encouraged him to launch his YouTube channel in August 2017 and helped him understand how to monetise gaming content.
Today, Techno Gamerz is recognised for his gameplay across titles such as GTA V, Minecraft, Ranch Simulator, Garena Free Fire, Red Dead Redemption 2 and PUBG. His mod-driven narratives, distinctive voiceovers and family-friendly style have helped him build a loyal audience spanning different age groups and regions.
The milestone comes as the gaming industry across Asia continues to expand rapidly. According to Lumikai’s annual State of India Interactive Media and Gaming Report FY24, the Indian gaming market is projected to reach $9.2 billion by FY29. Techno Gamerz’s rise reflects this broader industry growth, cementing his position as one of Asia’s most influential gaming creators.
Chaurasia said, “I am extremely grateful to my audience for helping me reach 50 million subscribers. This milestone feels surreal and is a reflection of the love and support I have received over the years. My goal has always been to create content that genuinely entertains and connects with people. Gaming is my passion, and I want to keep pushing myself creatively. It’s incredible to witness how quickly the gaming ecosystem is evolving, not just in India but across Asia. I hope to continue delivering bigger and better experiences to my fans.”
