NEW DELHI: TT Limited has signed World No 1 wrestler Bajrang Punia as its brand ambassador.
TT Limited managing director Sanjay K Jain said they wanted a ‘real hero’ as their brand ambassador and not a filmy hero, as is the case with most other brands in the innerwear category.
Punia has won the Asian Games and World Championship and is one of India’s best prospects for an Olympic Gold medal.
TT Limited sells its innerwear under the brand name of TT and casual/active wear under the brand HiFlyer.
The company is confident that Punia will create a connect with its male target audience and enhance its macho appeal. The company is looking at a 30% growth in turnover of its garment vertical as it deepens its penetration in its major markets with a wider and more appealing product range.
