MONACO: The much-awaited 2018-19 UEFA Champions League group stage draw was declared at an event in the city. One of the top matches in the earliest round would be when Manchester United take on Juventus in Group H which would see the return of Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba to their former clubs respectively. Paris Saint Germain vs last season’s finalists Liverpool and Atletico Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund would be the other games to watch out for.
Should defending champions Real Madrid reach the final, they stand a massive chance to become European champions for the fourth year in the row in their home city this season.
The draw results come alongside the announcement by Sony Pictures Networks India, the incumbent media rights holder for the Champions League in this territory, that it has extended its lien on the high profile football property for another three years.
