11SPORTS PVT. LTD., the owner and commercial rights holder of the Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) league, has terminated its franchise agreement with World Of Krida, the operator of the Jaipur Patriots team, citing repeated contractual breaches and payment defaults.
The decision, effective immediately, brings an end to Jaipur Patriots’ participation in the league. According to 11Sports, the move follows months of engagement with the franchise owners, during which multiple opportunities and revised timelines were provided to address outstanding financial and contractual obligations, a media release said.
Despite these efforts, World Of Krida failed to comply with the terms of the agreement or clear dues owed to the league, prompting 11Sports to exercise its contractual rights.
“In view of repeated non-compliance and the absence of remedial action, we were left with no alternative but to proceed with termination,” the league said in a statement, adding that the decision was necessary to uphold governance standards, financial discipline and the long-term stability of the competition.
As a result, Jaipur Patriots will no longer feature in the Ultimate Table Tennis league with immediate effect.
11Sports reiterated its commitment to maintaining transparency and professional standards across all franchise relationships, while safeguarding the interests of players and other stakeholders.
The league has initiated the process of onboarding a replacement franchise, which is expected to join from Season 7 and said further details regarding the new team will be announced in due course.
