The Uttarakhand Premier League (UPL) 2024 is set to kick off with the final fixtures announced Tuesday, promising a season of cricket in the Doon Valley.
The inaugural edition of the UPL will see domestic and IPL talents competing from September 15 to September 22 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun.
Fans across the state and beyond can look forward to a week of cricket action, with five men’s teams and three women’s teams battling it out for the title. The tournament opens with a doubleheader on September 15, followed by a week of competition, culminating in the final on September 22.
Fixture Highlights:
Opening Day (September 15): The tournament will kick off with an opening concert followed by the inaugural match between the men’s teams of Dehradun Warriors and Haridwar Spring Elmas.
Doubleheaders: Daily doubleheader matches are scheduled, providing fans with back-to-back cricketing action.
Final Match (September 22): The tournament will conclude with the final, where the top two teams will battle for the UPL 2024 title.
