ZURICH: The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced on Tuesday that Visa, one of the world’s top financial services companies will remain in its ‘TOP’ programme of sponsors till 2032. It was in 1986 that Visa was one of the founding members of the programme, becoming its global sponsor in the process as well.
The firm will work with local organizing committees during the Games as well to ensure smooth and innovative digital payment transactions, much like what it did at the FIFA World Cup 2018 with record numbers to show.
Visa will also be its extending its support to the Paralympic Games in a similar capacity courtesy their IOC-IPC partnership deal.

Our partnership with Visa demonstrates a shared commitment to the legacy of the Olympic Games and the global Olympic Movement.
