366M+ streamed India’s defeat to South Africa in T20 WC

INDIA’S DEFEAT to South Africa at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup drew more than 366 million viewers who streamed the match live on their devices, according to a report by Mint.

South Africa beat India by 76 runs after setting a target of 188. India were bowled out for 111 in 18.5 overs, while South Africa posted 187 for 7.

The loss leaves India in a challenging position in the tournament. With one defeat already and a net run rate of -3.800, their chances of qualification could be affected even if they win their remaining fixtures.

In contrast, India’s match against Pakistan on 15 February saw them secure a 61-run victory, with total live viewership exceeding 454 million.
