NEW DELHI: The Khelo India Mobile App, developed by the Sports Authority of India, has proved to be extremely popular since being launched last year with more than 1,000 schools and 70,000 students across the country already taking the various tests through it.
Scores of every participant are available on the app in an effort to identify children with potential for professional sports.
The app can be used for tests like Body Mass Index, Plate Tapping test to assess co-ordination, Sit and Reach test for flexibility, 600MT Run/Walk for Stamina, 50m dash–standing start for speed, Partial Curl Ups to assess abdominal muscular strength and endurance etc.
