MUMBAI: Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) has zeroed in on Bageshree Lake City as its principal sponsor for the IPL 2019 season, IANS reports.
Through this partnership, Bageshree Developers plans to promote what is being considered its biggest project ever in its home town of Gandhidham in Gujarat titled ‘Bageshree Lake City’.
Bageshree Developers owner Bijal Mehta was quoted as saying to IANS: “This has been my dream project. The fact that it is now the main sponsor of Kings XI Punjab makes it even better. I have always been a cricket fan and I had never imagined that one day my company will be sponsoring a cricket team.
“IPL is very big, not only in India but globally. I feel it is a great platform for our project. Our aim is to spread the name of Bageshree group across the country and this is a huge step towards this goal.”
The company has reportedly acquired 22,000 square feet of land in Mumbai to build a state-of-the-art, 360 degree service providing production house by 2020.
