MUMBAI: The Asian Games has come up with a new fan engagement campaign on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter which will make them voice their opinions on the sports to be included for the 2022 edition of the tournament.
The #NextAtAsianGames campaign will determine the maximum number of votes across sports, which will be taken into consideration by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), the organizers of the Asian Games.
Hangzhou in China will host the event from 10-25 September 2022.
A record 58 sports, which included 10 of them making their debut, were contested by Asian nations in the 2018 edition of the event in Indonesia.
