Pune named as Bengaluru Bulls’ home venue for PKL 2018

BENGALURU: Mashal Sports Pvt. Ltd, the rights owner and organiser of the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League, declared Pune as the new venue for the Bengaluru Bulls’ home leg in the ongoing sixth season of the tournament.

Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium (Balewadi Stadium), a multi-purpose stadium will host the Bulls’ games from 23-29 November. The actual home side, Puneri Paltan has completed its home leg already at the same venue.

It is believed that the Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, the original home ground of the Bulls, which is the only indoor multi-purpose stadium in the city, is unavailable for the dates of the matches.

Bengaluru Bulls will play their first ‘home’ match against Bengal Warriors with the action live on the Star Sports Network including Star Suvarna Plus in Kannada and Hotstar. The matches originally scheduled to be held on 27 November will now be held a day earlier. Consequently, the rest day for this leg will be on Tuesday instead of Monday. There are no other changes to the match schedule.
