TOKYO: Celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, the ‘Citizen’ group has named Japan’s top female tennis player, Naomi Osaka as its brand ambassador. Osaka has been seen endorsing the watch brand at the on-going US Open 2018 with the ‘Eco-Drive Bluetooth BZ4006-01E’ edition which will be launched globally this autumn.
Toshio Tokura, President and CEO of Citizen believes that Osaka epitomizes the brand’s tagline “Better Starts Now,” which encapsulates the belief that no matter who you are and what you do, it is always possible to make something better and now is the time to start doing it.
