KyaZoonga secures Royal Melbourne Show ticketing mandate

MUMBAI: Zoonga Australia, the Australian subsidiary of global entertainment and sports ticketing company KyaZoonga, has been named as the Official Ticketing Partner of one of the world’s premier horse riding events, ‘Royal Melbourne Show’ till 2023. 

The 2018 edition of the event will be held between September 22 and October 22 at  Melbourne Showgrounds. 

The agreement was announced by the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV).

“The Royal Melbourne Show is Victoria’s largest annual community event and we are committed to continually enhancing customer experience and value.

“We believe Zoonga’s innovative world-class ticketing services and experience in ticketing major events around the world will add great value to our event operations and importantly provide a great experience to Royal Melbourne Show visitors when they purchase tickets online or at the event.,” Brad Jenkins, RASV general manager, Marketing and Business Development, said. 

Claire Connolly, general manager at Zoonga Australia said: “We are truly excited about entering the Australian market through our partnership with RASV and further expanding our mission of ‘Tickets made simple for everyone, everywhere’.

“The Royal Melbourne Show is an iconic Australian event and we are proud to have been appointed the official ticketing partner.

“We will work closely with RASV to do what we do best – providing customers, with seamless access to tickets through our user-friendly online service and innovative technology. We empower our clients and our customers with the ability to choose how, when, where and what they want to purchase.

Zoonga Australia will be offering innovative and customer-friendly features to users when the tickets will be available for sale later this year. 

Since its inception in 2007, KyaZoonga’s expansion has been rapid, starting out with the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 and was the only company from the Indian subcontinent to have bid for the Rio Olympics 2016 ticketing rights, but narrowly missed out on them.
