NEW YORK: Discovery Communication, one of the world’s leading media companies announced on Wednesday that the company’s president and CEO David Zaslav will be continuing in the same capacities till December 31, 2023.
Zaslav has committed to hold the majority of his equity from stock grants to term, furthering the alignment of shareholder and management interests.
The company has had a bumper 2018 as it signed a first-of-its-kind 12-year partnership agreement with the PGA Tour to create a unique international golf service, including global television and multi-platform live rights outside the United States to all the event’s media properties.

Zaslav joined Discovery as president and chief executive in 2007, following a distinguished career at NBCUniversal.
