MUMBAI: With a high profile fraud hitting Punjab National Bank (PNB), its brand ambassador, Virat Kohli, might pull out of the endorsement deal.
The Indian cricket team captain was signed up by PNB in 2016. But now, with the disclosure of a Rs 114-billion fraud case, Kohli would like to disassociate himself before he comes under fire for promoting the bank.
PNB had picked up Kohli as their brand ambassador in a bid to improve their image – which had taken a hit due to rising bad loans.
