MUMBAI: The active wear market is seeing more action with one more celebrity, Tiger Shroff, launching Prowl, his clothing and accessories brand.
Created and owned by the Bollywood star and Mojostar, a joint venture between Kwan Entertainment and Dream Theatre, the brand is expected to retail in stores and online platforms from June 2018.
The target audience is young consumers between 15 – 28 years, who lead a high activity lifestyle and are constantly on the move. It will feature clothing and accessories to fit the target consumer’s active lifestyles and will be priced between Rs 1,000 – 3000.
Prowl marks the first launch from Mojostar which was formed in August 2017. They are aiming to launch two more celebrity brands during the year and intend to invest $3-4 million across the brands, a report in Mint said.
Just on the celebrity front, the brand will be competing with those launched by the likes of Salman Khan, Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Hrithik Roshan, Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor to name a few. To these one can add the long line waiting to be launched, including the two otehrs from Mojostar.
