Flying Man Ventures, a company founded by Indian tennis legend Leander Paes, has appointed Apurva Sircar as chief executive officer (CEO).
Sircar took to LinkedIn to announce the appointment. “…I join as the CEO of Flying Man Ventures (FMV), a company Leander founded. My role will be to drive the various businesses that FMV plans to venture into. Through sport, sports education, health & wellness, corporate collaborations, entertainment, and other avenues, we aim to create a lasting and deep impact in making the world around us a better place.”
Sircar is an experienced professional specialising in marketing strategy, brand building, market development, experiential marketing, advertising, and digital marketing.
Prior to his appointment at Flying Man Ventures, Sircar was head of marketing at Bandhan Bank. He was with the bank for over seven years. In a career spanning close to two decades, Sircar has worked with Heinz India, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Birla Sun Life Insurance and Ageas Federal Life Insurance.
