IRON MOUNTAIN, one of the global leader in information management services, has announced its partnership with McLaren Racing as an official partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team.
Through this collaboration, Iron Mountain will play a pivotal role in McLaren Racing’s digital heritage transformation journey. Leveraging its AI-powered digital platform, Iron Mountain will help activate McLaren’s extensive archives converting historical assets such as pioneering blueprints, vintage photography, and archival film into intelligent, dynamic digital content.
By preserving, digitising, and unlocking the value of these assets, McLaren Racing aims to connect fans and partners around the world with the moments that define its illustrious legacy. The initiative will enable McLaren to tell new and engaging stories that bring its heritage and innovation closer to audiences than ever before.
Additionally, McLaren Racing will benefit from Iron Mountain’s expertise in secure, efficient, and sustainable management of end-of-life IT assets.
The partnership officially begins at the 2025 United States Grand Prix, where Iron Mountain branding will debut on McLaren’s Formula 1 race cars. Additional branding activations will follow across the 2025 season and beyond.
