Paarth Sonni wins CoC title at PPL ft Sheru Classic Mumbai

PRO PANJA LEAGUE (PPL) ft Sheru Classic Mumbai event concluded with Paarth Sonni capturing the Champion of Champions title. The competition began with category winners and select runners-up competing for the overall crown.

Early rounds delivered several surprises. Sourabh Jaiswal (60 kg winner) was unexpectedly defeated by Daniyal Khan (80 kg+ runner-up), while Paarth Sonni advanced after overcoming Danish Khatri (70 kg winner). Muzahid Shaikh (80 kg winner) secured his place in the final stage by defeating Amish Maurya. In the decisive round-robin, Sonni asserted his dominance, defeating both Shaikh and Khan to secure the top honour.

The event also showcased strong performances across weight categories: in the 60 KG class, Sourabh Jaiswal took first place, followed by MD Fahad and Kashi. The 70 KG title went to Danish Khatri, with Prashant Yadav and Sikander Bajwa placing second and third. Muzahid Shaikh secured the 80 KG win over Amish Maurya and Daniel Sagyun, while Paarth Sonni claimed the 80 KG+ title ahead of Daniyal Khan and Atharva Bhagwat.

The PPL continues to elevate arm-wrestling’s profile in India, offering a professional platform for athletes to compete and grow. The successful Mumbai event underscored the rising competitive standards within the league.
