DECATHLON has unveiled its New Year campaign, Movement Is For All, celebrating everyday movement in its most authentic, relatable and inclusive forms.
Anchored in the idea that everyone moves and everyone moves differently, the campaign challenges traditional views of fitness and sport. Rather than emphasising performance or perfection, Movement Is For All highlights the movement that already exists in daily life, encouraging people to start where they are and move in ways that feel natural, personal and achievable, according to the media release.
As people set New Year goals to become more active or try something new, the campaign seeks to offer reassurance instead of pressure. From morning stretches and neighbourhood walks to cycling through city streets, training, playing or picking up a new sport, movement is portrayed not as something to begin from zero, but as something already embedded in everyday routines. By spotlighting these moments, DECATHLON reinforces the idea that participation, consistency and personal progress matter more than speed or targets and that every step forward has value.
Central to the campaign is a 30-second brand film released across digital platforms. The film brings the idea of “Everybody Moves” to life through a series of everyday scenes, featuring people moving at different paces and in different ways. It captures the diverse rhythms of real life and concludes with the message Movement Is For All, reflecting DECATHLON’s positioning as a brand for everyone.
The campaign has been conceptualised by DECATHLON’s in-house teams of sports practitioners, whose work and daily lives are deeply rooted in movement.
Decathlon India CMO Gaudham Ganesh expressed, “Movement doesn’t begin in gyms or with goals, it already exists in everyday life. With ‘Movement Is For All’, we wanted to celebrate this reality and encourage people to start or restart their journey in ways that feel personal and achievable. At DECATHLON, we support every stage of that journey with accessible products, guidance and confidence, because movement is truly for everyone.”
