WPBL partners Eurosport India to broadcast season 2

WORLD PICKLEBALL LEAGUE (WPBL) has announced a partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery–owned Eurosport India to broadcast Season 2 of the league across the country.

Following a successful debut season in 2025 that introduced pickleball to prime-time Indian audiences, WPBL is set to return on a bigger scale. The league has expanded to seven teams with the addition of the Jaipur franchise, and Season 2 will feature 120 matches, up from 90 last year, all of which will be aired live on Eurosport.

The new season will unfold over 13 days of what the league describes as “sportainment”, combining high-energy pickleball with live entertainment, starting from 27 January. Eurosport, Warner Bros. Discovery’s multi-sport brand across India and Europe, reaches 246 million subscribers in 75 countries spanning Europe, Asia and the Middle East, according to the media release.

Through this collaboration, WPBL and Eurosport aim to create a league that resonates with fans both on and off the court, blending competitive sport, entertainment and community engagement to embed pickleball within India’s growing sports landscape.

WPBL founder and CEO Gaurav Natekar said, “The broadcast partnership with Eurosport India is a natural progression in World Pickleball League’s growth journey. It enables us to reach millions of new viewers internationally as the league continues to expand. Season 2 reflects how quickly World Pickleball League has scaled into a truly global spectacle, with players from over 25 countries registering for the draft and representation from 18 different nations to feature this season. With more live matches and a significantly enhanced sportainment experience, World Pickleball League is focused on delivering long-term value for fans, players, broadcasters, partners and franchises alike.”
