FANCODE, A SPORTS STREAMING PLATFORM has secured exclusive broadcast rights for three of professional golf’s most prestigious Major championships: The Masters Tournament, the PGA Championship, and the U.S. Open.
For the second consecutive year, FanCode will be the ‘Home of Golf’ in India, bringing live coverage of the sport’s grandest stages to millions of fans across the country, a media release said. The 2026 Major season gets underway with The Masters at the iconic Augusta National Golf Club from April 9-12, followed by the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club, Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, from May 14-17, and the U.S. Open at the historic Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, Southampton, New York, from June 18-21.
Together, these three events represent the very pinnacle of the sport, attracting the world’s best players and commanding audiences across the globe. The 2026 season promises to be one of the most compelling in recent memory. Defending Masters champion Rory McIlroy, who completed a stunning Career Grand Slam at Augusta last year, returns to defend his green jacket, while World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, fresh off winning the PGA Championship and The Open in 2025, arrives as the pre-tournament favourite looking to add a third Masters title to his name. Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, and Ludvig Åberg are among the star-studded cast of contenders set to do battle across all three events.
The PGA Championship’s return to Aronimink, a venue that last hosted a Major back in 1962, adds a fresh dimension to the season, while the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills, one of America’s most storied and punishing layouts, sets the stage for a dramatic midsummer showdown. Scheffler, who needs only the U.S. Open to complete the Career Grand Slam, will have added motivation at Shinnecock.
