SONY SPORTS NETWORK (SSN) is bringing together an unprecedented run of Team India cricket action from May 28 through Diwali under its new campaign, ‘Goonjega India’.
Bringing together one of its most expansive cricket calendars yet, SSN will be the destination for 10 major India series across television, with nine also streaming on SonyLIV. The line-up spans marquee international tours, multi-nation contests, and major continental events, giving fans a near non-stop run of cricket across formats.
The action begins with India Women’s Tour of England featuring 3 T20Is and 1 Test across May and July, followed by the much-anticipated India Tour of England comprising 5 T20Is and 3 ODIs in July, available exclusively on Sony Sports. The season continues with the India Tour of Sri Lanka in August, India Tour of New Zealand across October and November, and cricket at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, where both men’s and women’s T20 competitions will be held from September 17 to October 3.
Further strengthening the line-up are key ACC events including the Women’s Asia Cup 2026, Men’s Rising Stars Asia Cup 2026, U19 Men’s Asia Cup 2026, and U19 Women’s Asia Cup 2026.
Rajesh Kaul, chief revenue officer and Business head, Sports and International, Sony Pictures Networks India, commented: “Cricket remains the biggest force in India’s sporting culture, and with Goonjega India, we are bringing fans an extraordinary run of Team India action from May 28 to Diwali. From the Women in Blue’s England tour to the men’s marquee clashes in England, Sri Lanka and New Zealand, alongside the Asian Games and major ACC tournaments, this is one of the most compelling cricket line-ups on Indian television. Sony Sports Network is proud to be the home of this marquee cricket season.”
To amplify the campaign, Sony Sports Network has rolled out three films celebrating the scale, emotion and intensity of the season.
Film 1: The Roar of Indian Cricket from May 28 to DiwaliFilm 2: Diwali tak goonjega ek hi naara – India! India!Film 3: Ground Tumhara Jeet Humari Part 2 – The Rivalry Continues in England
The film sets the stage for the upcoming India Tour of England in July 2026, framing it as a continuation of a deeply rooted and heated rivalry. The narrative centres on the idea that, while some forget the past, others never do, specifically referencing controversial moments and ‘time-wasting tactics’ from previous encounters that left a lasting impact on both fans and players. By highlighting tense exchanges at iconic venues like Lord’s, the film, suggests that while the colour of the ball or the jerseys will change, the competitive grudge remains exactly where it was left off. “Ground Tumhara Jeet Humari Part 2” promises a high-stakes showdown where Team India looks to settle the score.
