ADIDAS INDIA partnered with the Mizoram Football Association to host a FIFA World Cup 2026 celebration at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Aizawl.
The evening featured a live performance by Mendal, a traditional Cheraw bamboo dance, and two matches, one between local celebrities and creators, and another between elite athletes and top Indian footballers, all played with TRIZONA, the official FIFA World Cup 2026 match ball. Chief Minister Lalduhoma kicked off the matches. The event closed with a performance by Lilac and a presentation ceremony.
adidas also released a short film capturing football culture in Mizoram. As an Official FIFA Partner, the brand has been activating across India through digital takeovers, a Spotify Megahit Mix integration, OOH executions, the adidas Creators League, and immersive retail experiences.
