The knockout stage of India’s premier domestic one-day tournament, the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023, begins from December 9, LIVE on JioCinema and Sports18 Khel.
Six teams have already cemented their place in the quarterfinals with Rajasthan, Mumbai, Haryana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Vidarbha qualifying directly through the group stage. Kerala, Maharashtra, Bengal, and Gujarat will face off in the pre-quarterfinals. All knockout matches will be played in Rajkot.
Top India cricketers like Ajinkya Rahane, Mayank Agarwal, Sanju Samson, Dinesh Karthik, Sai Sudarshan, Devdutt Padikkal, among many others are still fighting for team glory in the competition. Defending champions Saurashtra haven’t been able to qualify for the knockout rounds, finishing fourth in Group A. Last year’s runners-up Maharashtra are being led by Kedar Jadhav and also have the inf-form Ruturaj Gaikwad in the squad.
