BENGALURU: Himalaya Wellness Company has announced the launch of its latest product, Himalaya Natural Glow Rose Face Wash.
The launch is supported by the #NotFair campaign that it ran in collaboration with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team in Women’s Premier League (WPL).
Initially the RCB players were seen sporting #NotFair on their headgears. Following that, the headgears had the message “Himalaya Rose, Beauty is not equal to Color”, this generated discussion about the importance of embracing every skin color and every face. This reveal was planned around International Women’s Day (8th March), which also marked the official launch of the product.
The #NotFair campaign’s motive is to debunk beauty myths and encourage inclusivity. It is to not only highlight the importance of embracing all skin tones but also celebrate this diversity, challenging unfair beauty standards prevalent in society. It promotes self-love by appreciating the individuality of every beauty, irrespective of skin color.
The partnership between Himalaya and RCB during the WPL is a step towards promoting beauty positivity. The key message conveyed through the campaign is that “Beauty Has No Color. Every face has a special glow, and this individuality of glow should not only be appreciated but also celebrated.”
“We are excited to partner with RCB in the Women’s Premier League, an organization that shares our values of inclusivity and diversity. We hope this product and campaign will inspire people to break down stereotypes around beauty,” said Rajesh Krishnamurthy, Business director, Himalaya Wellness Company.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Menon, head & vice president of Royal Challengers Bangalore, said, “We are glad to partner with Himalaya that shares the same core values of inclusivity and diversity as RCB and look forward to a long-term association for the causes that matters to us and inspire our fans and impact them positively in life.”
