The inaugural edition of the International League T20 (ILT20) in the UAE will start on Friday, January 13, in Dubai, the Emirates Cricket Board has confirmed.
Making its debut in January (2023), the inaugural ILT20, which has received multi-year ICC approval, will be played in a 34-match format over four weeks across the UAE’s cricket facilities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, the ECB stated Tuesday.
The final is likely to be played on February 12, according to a report in ESPNcricinfo.
As per the ECB, the tournament will kick off with an opening ceremony at the Dubai International Stadium with superstar rapper Badshah setting “the night alight”.

Franchise teams, comprising 84 International and 24 UAE-based players, include Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (Kolkata Knight Riders), Desert Vipers (Lancer Capital), Dubai Capitals (GMR), Gulf Giants (Adani Sportsline), MI Emirates (Reliance Industries), and Sharjah Warriors (Capri Global).
