INDIAN PICKLEBALL LEAGUE (IPBL) has announced a partnership with the Adani Group, which comes on board as the ‘powered by’ partner ahead of the league’s first season. The collaboration brings together IPBL’s fast-paced league format and Adani’s established sporting credentials, reflecting a shared commitment to accelerating the sport’s growth across the country.
Launched by The Times Group, IPBL is the only national pickleball league sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The league will make its debut from 1 to 7 December at the KD Jadhav Indoor Hall, Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi, featuring city-based teams and top Indian and international players in a competitive, broadcast-ready format.
The Adani Group has long been focused on strengthening India’s sporting landscape by building grassroots systems, nurturing young talent, and creating pathways that help athletes progress to national recognition. With IPBL introducing a fresh, competitive league format for one of India’s fastest-growing sports, the partnership brings two aligned missions together: Adani’s commitment to developing sport at the foundation level and IPBL’s drive to elevate pickleball, combining to deliver an experience that amplifies the sport’s growing momentum nationwide, per the media release.
Pickleball World Rankings (A Times Group Company) president Sameer Pathak said, “We are delighted to welcome on board the Adani Group for IPBL’s debut season. Their dedication to nurturing Indian sport aligns with our ambition to scale pickleball with the structure, visibility, and ambition it deserves. Together, we aim to elevate the sport’s journey and set the stage for a league that reflects the energy and potential of a new India.”
Adani Sportsline chief business officer Sanjay Adesara added, “The Adani Group is proud to support the debut edition of the Indian Pickleball League. Pickleball is among India’s fastest-growing sports, and our association reflects our commitment to nurturing emerging talent and building world-class sporting ecosystems. We believe the IPBL has immense potential to scale nationwide and inspire a new generation of athletes.”
