adidas scores €1bn+ Real Madrid kit deal extension

MADRID: LaLiga giants Real Madrid and German sports brand adidas Thursday announced an eight-year extension to their long running kit sponsorship until June 2028.

While financial details were not revealed, the deal, which marks a third decade of the most successful alliance in football, is reportedly worth €1.1 billion over the eight seasons it will be in play.
 
adidas has designed and produced the emblematic Whites jersey since 1998. Over this period, Real Madrid have won 6 Champions Leagues, 6 Club World Cups, 4 UEFA Super Cups, 6 LaLiga titles, 5 Spanish Super Cups and 2 Copa del Reys.
 
The aim for the coming years is to remain at the helm of world football, seeing Real Madrid being successful on the pitch and providing the best products to madridista fans around the world.
