CAPGEMINI WILL CONTINUE AS the Official Transformation Partner of the HSBC Rugby Premier League through 2028, with Season 2 taking place in Hyderabad this June. The season will feature both men’s and, for the first time, a women’s competition.
The men’s competition features six franchises — Delhi Redz, Hyderabad Heroes, Kolkata Banga Tigers, Chennai Bulls, Mumbai Dreamers, and Bengaluru Bravehearts. Four women’s franchises — Chennai Bulls, Delhi Redz, Mumbai Dreamers, and Kolkata Banga Tigers- will compete in the inaugural women’s competition.
The tournament runs from June 16 to 28 at Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad, broadcast on Star Sports and streamed on JioHotstar.
Capgemini’s association with the Indian Rugby Football Union (IRFU) began in 2022 as an associate sponsor for national rugby sevens teams across men’s, women’s, boys’, and girls’ categories. During this period, women’s rugby in India has qualified for the Asia Rugby Sevens Series and recorded multiple podium finishes across Asian tournaments.
