LONDON: In less than seven months, Arsenal, the Premier League giants have found another sponsor hailing from Egypt. The club announced the signing of a 3-year contract with Banque du Caire, one of the North African country’s top financial institutions.
According to the deal, Banque du Caire will issue co-branded Arsenal credit and debit cards in Egypt. In addition, the bank’s customers and Arsenal’s fans in Egypt will be offered a range of club-related benefits including match-day hospitality to see the team in action at Emirates Stadium.
As part of the launch and to celebrate the partnership, Banque du Caire has branded all 250+ branches with Arsenal memorabilia for their customers to enjoy and will reward new and existing customers with official club merchandise.
The bank will also have access to Arsenal’s star players and club legends to generate content and develop marketing campaigns, allowing them to engage with the club’s supporters and other football fans in the country.

Arsenal’s other Egyptian sponsor happens to be Hyde Park Developments Limited, the real estate company. The club has also roped in other African sponsor on board, Rwanda Tourism as a part of their global strategy of reaching out to the continent.
