BARCELONA: Germany and Spain share an interesting history and they are all set to create another as LaLiga champions FC Barcelona named German blockchain company Dyno as its analytics partner
Dyno is known in Europe for its advanced analytics device, Dynostics, which claims to provide the most accurate results after taking an athlete’s nutrition and performance tests.
FC Barcelona’s team doctor Dr Franchek Drobnic lauded the device during a trial in the city recently.
“This is just amazing: it is so easy to handle and the measurements are still 100% as exact as the medical stationary devices.”, Drobnic said.
This partnership will allow Barca’s sports-medical department to become more cost-efficient while receiving high quality data about some of their world-class athletes such as Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. Its success will also be extended to the club’s handball, basketball, and roller hockey teams as well, an official release states.
Dyno is also working closely with the likes of Red Bull and the University of Leipzig in its home country, as it aims to expand with its innovations.
