MUMBAI: With just a week to go for yet another highly anticipated Team India game at the ongoing ICC World Cup (this one against Sri Lanka), the BCCI released another lot of tickets at 12 noon on Friday.
Not surprisingly, as soon the tickets were released, within no time “sold out” messages were being thrown up on the official ticketing platform BookMyShow.
The match between two Asian countries is scheduled to take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday, November 2.
It bears noting that this is the second time that the Indian cricket board is releasing tickets for an India game just a week ahead of the fixture. In similar fashion, BCCI is yet to release tickets for India’s other upcoming Super League matches against South Africa and Netherlands on November 5th and 12th, respectively.
The fans are clearly not high on the BCCI’s priority list.
