Chennaiyin FC sign Simple Energy as mobility partner

CHENNAIYIN FC have entered into a partnership with Simple Energy, which will serve as the club’s official mobility partner for the 2026 Indian Super League (ISL) season.

As part of the agreement, Simple Energy will gain strong brand visibility across the club’s matchday and training set-up, including logo placement on the back of the team’s match and training shorts. The company will also feature prominently during home games through LED perimeter advertising and selected in-stadium assets at the Marina Arena, ensuring sustained exposure throughout the campaign.

The collaboration will extend to digital activations across the club’s official channels, alongside access to selected club intellectual property and opportunities for player engagement.

Simple Energy, which opened its Chennai outlet in 2025, now operates 15 stores across Tamil Nadu. The partnership allows the EV manufacturer to connect with a passionate football audience in the region, while reinforcing Chennaiyin FC’s commitment to working with brands focused on long-term growth and community engagement. The association will run across the entire ISL 2026 season.

Chennaiyin FC COO Akhil Prakash said, “We’re pleased to welcome Simple Energy as our Official Mobility Partner. As a future-focused brand from India, Simple Energy aligns strongly with Chennaiyin FC’s values of performance, innovation, and responsibility. This partnership allows us to strengthen our sustainability narrative while engaging young, urban fans across Tamil Nadu in meaningful ways—both on and off the pitch.”

Simple Energy founder and CEO Suhas Rajkumar added, “Chennaiyin FC stands for ambition and a strong connection with its community—values that mirror how we build at Simple Energy. Mobility, like football, is driven by momentum and belief. This partnership reflects our commitment to Tamil Nadu and to empowering fans and riders with performance-driven technology built for real-world India. Together with Chennaiyin FC, we want the next generation to Ride Untamed—on the pitch, on the road, and beyond.”
