WEST INDIES CRICKET LEGEND Chris Gayle has been announced as the official brand ambassador for the 2025 season of the Lanka Premier League (LPL).
The upcoming edition of the tournament is scheduled to take place in July–August 2026, following the completion of key international series. According to an LPL release, the rescheduled window ensures players and fans can enjoy uninterrupted access to what promises to be the league’s sixth and biggest season yet.
Known worldwide as the ‘Universe Boss’, Gayle’s legacy in international and franchise T20 cricket aligns perfectly with the LPL’s growing reputation for high-octane action, line-ups, and fan-first experiences. His association with the league and the newly adjusted calendar is expected to strengthen the LPL’s global presence and viewership appeal.
