Coca-Cola commits to 3-year Indian women’s football team sponsorship

ALL INDIA FOOTBALL FEDERATION (AIFF) has announced that soft drinks giant Coca-Cola has committed to sponsoring the Indian women’s national football team for the next three years.

AIFF president Kalyan Chaubey confirmed the partnership during the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, noting that Coca-Cola has pledged long-term backing for the women’s side, “So for football, just like Honourable Minister is always there with kind heart to support, Coca-Cola has said they will support Indian women football team for next three years.”

As part of the agreement, Coca-Cola will support the national team through targeted initiatives, including access to qualified international coaches and overseas exposure tours. Chaubey explained that the aim is to ensure Indian players receive high-quality training and regular international competition, enabling them to compete on more equal terms with leading football nations.

The announcement comes at a crucial time for women’s football in India, with the national team preparing for the 2026 AFC Women’s Asia Cup in Australia later this year. Federation officials believe sustained, structured investment over multiple seasons will be key to narrowing the gap between India and the world’s top teams.
