NEW DELHI: Hindi film actor Vindu Dara Singh launched Monday a comic book on his late father and Indian wrestling legend Dara Singh alongside champion powerlifter Gaurav Sharma, IANS reports.
The book is called ‘The Epic Journey of The Great Dara Singh’ which depicts his life and struggles on the way of becoming one of the rare Indians to make a mark in the WWE.
“I am sure people of all age will love it. Dara Singh ji was a legend, I met him once and he gave me advice on fitness,” Sharma told IANS.
“This is the story of overcoming challenges with valour and integrity, proving those who doubted him wrong and offering a helping hand to those in need. This is the story of Dara Singh. What makes the story so inspiring is legendary Dara Singh’s courageous and powerful choices in his life,” Vindu, who is also the author of the book, added.
