DAZN HAS ACQUIRED global broadcast rights to the International Federation of American Football’s (IFAF) flag football competitions under a multi-year agreement. Events will be free-to-view in more than 200 markets.
Coverage begins with the men’s and women’s IFAF Flag Football World Championships in Düsseldorf, Germany, from August 13-16, 2026, where two teams from each competition will qualify for the LA 2028 Olympics. DAZN will also broadcast the 2027 IFAF Flag Football Continental Championships and the 2028 Flag Football World Championships. Additional coverage will include European tackle football championships.
Flag football will make its Olympic debut at the LA 2028 Summer Olympics. Flag football has seen a 48% increase in the number of national teams entering the IFAF world ranking system over the past three years.
