DECATHLON INDIA has announced a strategic partnership with sports community platform Playo, aimed at improving accessibility, trust and convenience for sports enthusiasts across the country. Anchored in the philosophy of “Sports for All”, the collaboration simplifies how customers discover, book and participate in sports.
With access to Playo’s community of over five million users, the partnership seeks to introduce a broader audience to Decathlon Playgrounds, strengthen Decathlon’s integrated play-and-shop ecosystem, and encourage everyday participation in sport through its pan-India footprint.
Currently, 36 Decathlon Playgrounds are live on the Playo app and website, allowing users to book sessions up to 20 days in advance. Players can also take advantage of extended operating hours starting as early as 6am at select flagship and standalone stores and access a range of affordable, high-quality venues with ease. The collaboration supports Decathlon’s wider ambition of creating a seamless connection between sports retail and real-world play, offering customers not just venues, but consistent spaces to return to as part of their active routines.
Playo’s technology plays a central role in the partnership, delivering a frictionless booking experience through its app and website. Users can reserve multiple slots for repeat or bulk sessions, access seasonal offers, and connect with other players via Playo’s GAME community features, including player ratings that help users find compatible playing partners.
